Stream to 3D by IWAHDK LTD

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 July 2026

This notice explains how IWAHDK LTD handles information when you use the Stream to 3D software, visit iwantaholodeck.com, purchase through a supported store, or contact support.

Who we are

IWAHDK LTD is the controller for personal data that it processes. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 14694856. Our registered office is 19 Heronbank, Coventry, CV4 9XN, United Kingdom.

You can contact us about privacy at contact@iwantaholodeck.com.

What Stream to 3D keeps local

Stream to 3D processes video and audio on your Windows PC. The application does not transmit your source videos, converted output, camera feeds, screen-capture content or their audio to IWAHDK LTD. We do not use that content for data mining, advertising or product analytics.

Stream to 3D is not a cloud video-conversion service. Internet access is used for the limited operational purposes described below.

Information we process

Software licensing, entitlements and updates

Stream to 3D uses a limited amount of purchase, licence, product, installation, device and connection information to confirm that the software and its features are available to you, apply installation limits, provide updates, prevent unauthorised use and resolve support issues.

This operational information does not include your video, audio, camera or screen-capture content. The application does not use IWAHDK-operated advertising tracking or behavioural analytics.

Purchases and stores

Purchases are handled by Gumroad, Itch.io or Steam. Those services process payment, account and regional tax information under their own terms and privacy notices. IWAHDK LTD does not receive your complete payment-card details.

We may receive or verify the limited purchase, entitlement and contact information needed to fulfil and support your licence.

Website use

When you visit our website, we may process basic connection, browser, device and usage information needed to deliver and secure the site, investigate faults and understand aggregate service use.

The website may use cookies required for site functionality. Embedded content, such as a Vimeo video, can cause your browser to connect to that provider and may allow it to process network, device or cookie information under its own privacy notice.

Support and communications

If you contact us by email, Discord or another support route, we process the information you choose to provide, such as your contact details, product and purchase information, diagnostic information and message history. Please do not send source videos, licence keys or other sensitive information unless it is necessary and we have asked you to do so through an appropriate channel.

Why we process information

Depending on the context, we rely on:

  • contract, to fulfil purchases, validate access, provide entitled features and updates, and deliver support;
  • legitimate interests, to protect licences and services, prevent fraud, keep systems secure, diagnose faults, maintain business records and improve reliability;
  • legal obligation, where records or disclosures are required by law; and
  • consent, where required for optional marketing or non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Automated licence decisions

Licence validation automatically confirms whether the software and its features are available to a purchase. A failed check can restrict access to the software or a feature. If you believe a decision is incorrect, contact Stream to 3D Support and ask us to review it.

Who we share information with

We share information only where needed for the purposes above, including with:

  • Gumroad, Itch.io and Valve/Steam for purchase, subscription and entitlement verification;
  • service providers that help us operate the website, licensing, email and support;
  • embedded-content providers when you choose to load their content; and
  • professional advisers, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where reasonably necessary or legally required.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with data brokers or third parties for their advertising.

International transfers

Some store, hosting or communication providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where IWAHDK LTD is responsible for such a transfer, we use the provider's contractual and legal transfer safeguards as required by applicable data-protection law. Store platforms also make transfers under their own privacy notices.

How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:

  • purchase, licence, installation and entitlement records are retained for the life of the relevant licence or subscription and for as long afterwards as needed to administer legitimate ownership, support, disputes, fraud prevention and legal obligations;
  • purchase and accounting records are retained for the period required by tax, accounting and consumer law;
  • server and security logs are rotated or deleted when no longer needed for security, reliability or investigation; and
  • support correspondence is retained for as long as needed to resolve and learn from the issue, maintain an appropriate support history, or establish or defend legal claims.

We may retain a minimal record where necessary to honour an opt-out, record a licence reset or demonstrate compliance.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information and risk. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal data, object to processing, receive portable data, and withdraw consent. You may also ask for a human review of an automated licence decision.

To exercise a right, email contact@iwantaholodeck.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.

Children

Our website and software are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Store platforms may apply additional age requirements.

Third-party services

Our website and software may link to or use third-party services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy notices and terms.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our services, providers or legal obligations change. We will publish the current version here and change the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
